Can I use glass containers with the Foldable Jet Steamer? Are there any limitations when it comes to
Any containers with a heat resistance of 100°C or above can be put into the Foldable Jet Steamer as long as the dimensions are no more than 23 x 24 cm, such as containers made of glass, ceramics, metals, tin foil, silicone and plastic.
How should I descale the water tank of the Foldable Jet Steamer?
Fill the water tank with diluted white vinegar (2 tsp of vinegar : 1 L of water) and steam for 20 minutes every 1-2 months to descale the tank. Unplug the appliance and pour out the diluted white vinegar. Fill the tank with water and steam for 10 minutes.
Is it OK to add tiers by stacking up additional steamer baskets?
We do not recommend stacking up additional steamer baskets to more than the default settings (JET-915: 2 levels/JET-920: 3 levels)
No steam is ejected after switching on the Foldable Jet Steamer. Why?
The lid may not be in contact with the safety switch. It is also possible that the water tank is not filled with water. Cover the lid again and fill the tank with water. Also, steam ejection may be delayed for protection purpose. Wait for about 25 seconds before the steam is released.
What is the best way to clean the Foldable Jet Steamer after cooking?
Unplug the appliance and pour away the condensate in the drip tray. Rinse the Plastic Steaming Plate, Transparent Steaming Basket and the lid with water. Wipe the unit with a clean, dry cloth.
