German Pool Presents Green Water Heating Solution

Under the arrangement of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Hong Kong Management Section Committee, members from the IET participated in the “Seminar on Smart Home Management – Utilizing Renewable Energy for Water Heating”, which was held by German Pool (Hong Kong) Limited at German Pool’s Tokwawan Showroom.

Four experts presented the latest green water heating technology to the engineers from IET, making it a great opportunity for the two parties to exchange knowledge.

German Pool is a leader in the water heater market offering a wide range of product types. Technological features of the brand’s water heaters are introduced in the seminar. They include Instantaneous, Solar, Storage, and Solar-Instant types of water heater, as well as heat pump and heat exchanger. The engineers were interested in the product features and eager to make enquiries.

German Pool water heaters present a series of green features: its instantaneous water heater is electrically-controlled, which heats only as much water as the users need preventing waste of energy. Another green product, SOLAHART water heater, absorbs solar energy for water heating. Its utilization of renewable energy makes it highly environmental-friendly. Heat exchanger has been widely used in industrial production, and is now expanding to residential use to upgrade people’s living quality.

The latest innovative solution from German Pool is solar-instant water heater – a combination of instantaneous and solar heating system into one water heater. It is greatly energy-efficient. In the daytime, solar water heating system absorbs heat from the sun, and no electricity is needed for heating. When daylight is insufficient, the product can still utilize water with residual solar heat, and further heat it up precisely to the desired temperature by instantaneous water heating system. This is a remarkable energy-saving design, which fully utilizes solar energy and prevents waste of electricity.
