Choose the suitable Air Conditioner by referring to the cooling capacity (kW) on the energy label as well as data regarding cooling coverage. Meanwhile, also pay attention to the type of Air Conditioner. The cooling capacity of the Portable Air Conditioners is influenced by the conditions of indoor environment.

Remove the filter and rinse it with water. Pat-dry with a cloth or air-dry it in a shady, dry place. Then put the filter back in position. Cleaning the filter at least once a month is highly recommended if the Air Conditioner is used very often or if the filter looks dirty.

If the windows are opened immediately after the Air Conditioner is switched off, warm air and moisture will enter the room and form condensation on the cool wall near it. It is perfectly normal. To prevent this from happening after switching off the Air Conditioner, do not open the windows and/or doors until the room warms up a little.

Utilize the Timer Button to power on/power off after a certain number of hours to fit your usage habit. Set the timer to go off after you fall asleep so that the unit will stop generating cool air once the room temperature has reached a suitable temperature for sleeping. This way energy efficiency of the unit can be optimized. Besides, if you are using a Portable Air Conditioner, make sure you install the exhaust pipe and window seal properly to prevent the exhaust air from affecting the temperature in the room.

Not true, the cooling capacity of an air conditioner is not reflected by HP value alone. By referring to the cooling capacity (kW) on energy label, you can choose a suitable air conditioner and compare the efficiency of power saving. For instance, an air conditioner of “Grade 1 Energy Label” with 2.6 kW (1 HP) cooling capacity is relatively more efficient in power-saving than that of “ Grade 5 Energy Label”.
