"Capital Entrepreneur – Brands Original from Hong Kong 2008"

German Pool (Hong Kong) Ltd. is honoured to be awarded “Brands Original from Hong Kong 2008” from business magazine “Capital Entrepreneur”. The award presentation ceremony was held at East Point City on 6 October 2008, with Acting Commissioner for Innovation & Technology Gordon Leung as the officiating guest. The award was launched by “Capital Entrepreneur” for the first time to recognize excellent brands originated in Hong Kong. Corporations were judged by 5 criteria – innovation, market position, entrepreneurship, reputation, and familiarity among people in Hong Kong. 16 outstanding corporations were finally selected.

Mr. Edward Kwok Man Chan, Managing Director and Founder of German Pool (Hong Kong) Ltd., shared his brand-building experience after the ceremony, "German Pool (Hong Kong) Ltd. keeps on with its innovative spirit. While we have been renowned for our German-made water heaters, we have also developed a wide variety of electrical appliances. Halogen Cooking Pot, Ultimate Rice Cooker and Induction Cooker are examples of innovative and eco-friendly products." In recent years, the brand also develops one-stop-shop premium kitchen cabinetry and appliances business. Built-in appliances and cabinetry materials imported from Europe are offered to satisfy the needs of modern families.
