Red-Braised Beef Noodle Soup
Beef Brisket (or Beef Shank Shin)
Red Chili Pepper
Wash, peel and cut carrot, onion and tomato. Cut beef into large pieces and scald in a saucepan. Rinse with cold water and pat-dry.
Heat up oil inside Ultimate Rice Cooker. Add spring onion, ginger, garlic and chili pepper. Stir-fry until fragrant. Then add chili bean sauce. Put everything inside a soup bag.
Stir-fry onion and carrot inside the cooker. Add beef and cook until browned. Pour in all seasonings and the soup bag from step
Lock cooker lid and set cook time to 30 min. At the same time, cook noodles in a saucepan. Dish up and set aside.
When time is up, open cooker lid and serve beef over cooked Shanghainese noodles. Serve when hot.
