German Pool Awarded Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award

Organized byThe Mirror Monthly Magazine, the “7th Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award Presentation Ceremony” was held on 18th July at J.W. Marriott Hotel, Admiralty. German Pool was awarded with the “Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” in recognition of our support towards corporate social responsibility.

The event was attended by many corporates’ representatives where Mr. Leung Chun Ying, vice-chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, was officiating guest and speaker.

Since the 70's, German Pool has already partnered with a Germany company to design and develop a wide range of home appliances. After over 30 years of success, German Pool is now one of the most influential players in the home appliance industry in Hong Kong. In addition to commitment to developing the company's business, the founder Dr. Edward Kwok Man Chan is more focused on the future of society and has been enthusiastic about social and public welfare for many years."

About the Award

The "Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” recognizes the contribution of socially responsible corporates. It aims at deepening international understanding towards corporates owned by Chinese people and promoting positive corporate images, hence assisting the companies in building a better communication platform. By sharing experience regarding enterprise social responsibility, together the enterprises contribute to the health and sustainable development of the society.

Recipients of the recognition this year include Yoshinoya Hong Kong, Bank of China (Hong Kong), China Construction Bank (Asia), Lee Kum Kee, Chinachem Group, New World Development, ICBC (Asia), AIA International, Emperor Group, A.S. Watson, etc.
