With the Director, Mr Edward Chan's participation in "Wine for Millions"

German Pool Group Limited has been a devoted charity event supporter, with its Director, Dr. Edward, Chan Kwok Man, participating as company representative in “The Community Chest Château Mouton Rothschild Evening” hosted by The Community Chest at the newly renovated Government House on 15 November, 2012. The Honourable C Y Leung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Executive of the HKSAR, and his wife, Mrs Regina Leung, President of The Community Chest of Hong Kong, were invited as guests of honour to the event.

Dr. Chan remarked that German Pool puts emphasis on corporate social responsibility and participation in charity events, and that he was glad and honoured to participate in the event. German Pool supported this special event with donation of HK$78,000, which is fully allocated to 153 member social welfare agencies of The Community Chest.

The Community Chest Château Mouton Rothschild Evening” hosted by Community Chest with full support of Château Mouton Rothschild, the Bordeaux classified First Growth, and it is another charity event followed by the previous ones supported by Château Latour and Château Margaux. The Event was held at the newly renovated Government House with The Honourable C Y Leung, Chief Executive of the HKSAR, and his wife as guests of honour. The event was highlighted by a fine collection of vintages proposed by Château Mouton Rothschild at the dinner that coupled with great delicacies, together with a charity vintage auction. The event was well-received and raised nearly HK$8.4 million for supporting over 2.1 million beneficiaries across the territory.
