The dehumidifier box uses silica gels for dehumidification and requires no power or frequent charging. It absorbs moisture effectively even when placed in cabinets for extended periods. Once the silica gels become saturated (indicated by turning green), simply place the box back onto the top of the main unit for drying to reuse it. The frequency of drying depends on the humidity level of the space.
