Efficient 3-Way Halogen Heating

The infrared rays cook rapidly through heat conduction, convection and direct heat penetration. The excess fat in food is forced out, waiving the need for additional cooking oil. What’s more, this way of cooking emits no harmful radiation during the process!
Heat Penetration
The high-temperature FIR rays penetrate the food for fast cooking.
Heat Convection
The heat circulating system speeds up the cooking process.
Heat Conduction
Heat is conducted directly from the rack to the food.
The heat energy emitted by the infrared rays can directly penetrate food for speedy cooking.

Flameless | Fumeless | Oil-Free

No oil is needed during the preparation and cooking processes. Heat waves can penetrate directly into the food, effectively driving out grease. Thus, the cholesterol content can be kept to a minimum.

FAQ

How to make crispy roasted pork with the Halogen Cooking Pot?
Scald the pork belly in boiling water and marinate with sea salt for 2 hours. Pierce holes on the skin with a fork. Put the pork, skin-side down, onto the Low Rack inside the Halogen Pot. Roast at 260℃ for 15 minutes, then flip and roast skin-side up for 30 minutes more.
Why doesn't the heating element light up? Does it need to be repaired?
Either the heating element is broken or the circuit board is out of order. Bring the Halogen Cooking Pot to our Repairs & Customer Service Centre for inspection.
My Halogen Cooking Pot is out of order. What should I do?
Please check if the plug is secured and whether the lid is properly closed. If it is confirmed that the Halogen Pot is out of order, please bring the unit to the Repairs & Customer Service Centre. Free inspection and repair service will be provided within the warranty period. Parts for replacement will be charged after the warranty period has expired. Attention: It is unnecessary to bring the glass container along with the unit body for inspection or repair if the glass container is in good condition.
Can I use my Halogen Cooking Pot bought in Hong Kong in foreign countries?
It depends on the voltage of different countries. The voltage in Hong Kong is 220V. Halogen Cooking Pots bought in Hong Kong can also be used in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore and Macau. Voltage converters should be applied when using the Halogen Pot in Mainland China and Australia. In America, Canada and Taiwan, only the 110V model can be used. The 110V model can be purchased at our showrooms and the e-store (http://www.germanpoolstore.com/).
What is the operation principle of Halogen Cooking Pot? Does it release radiation?
The Halogen Cooking Pot generates waves of infrared light in order to heat up the air inside the heating chamber. The fan then circulates the heated air throughout the chamber to evenly cook the contents inside the container through convective heat transfer, or convection. Food can be cooked within a very short time. The Halogen Cooking Pot does NOT release radiation, so it is safer than microwave oven.
How to make roasted nuts with the Halogen Cooking Pot?
Scatter the nuts on the Baking Pan. Place the pan onto the Low Rack inside the Halogen Cooking Pot, then roast at 180℃ for 15 minutes. Stir briefly during the cooking process. Season with salt. Let cool and serve.
The fan keeps running even after cooking is finished and the heating element goes out. What is going
It is normal as the Halogen Cooking Pot is processing heat dissipation.
When I bake cakes with the Halogen Cooking Pot, the fan is too strong, making the surface of the cake uneven. How can I solve the problem?
Reverse the High Rack and put the cake inside. Put the Baking Plate on top of the legs of the Rack in order to block out the wind. However, the temperature should be adjusted to a higher level. The cooking time has to be extended as well.
Am I not allowed to use any metal containers with Halogen Cooking Pot, just like any other microwave
No, it is ok to use metal containers as long as they do not contain any plastic or rubber parts. Basically, all oven-friendly dishware that withstands 300℃ can be used in Halogen Cooking Pot.
How to stew with the Halogen Cooking Pot?
Put the Low Rack into the Halogen Cooking Pot, then place the stewing pot onto the rack. Pour hot water into the Halogen Pot until it reaches half way of the stewing pot. Put on the Ring Extension before covering the lid. Adjust the temperature to 180℃. The stewing time varies depending on the type of food, but it is similar to that of flame cooking.
