Answer:
To remove general water stain, pour a small amount of diluted white vinegar into the heating base of Egg Cooker and let it soak for about 30 minutes. Carefully rinse it with water and wipe dry.
For more stubborn scale stain, it's recommended to use citric acid for deep cleaning: 1. Pour distilled (or filtered) water into the heating base (just covering the heating plate, about half a measuring cup). Add a small spoonful of citric acid powder. Start Egg Cooker and heat for about 5 minutes and discard the dirty water. 2. Fill unit with filtered water and heat again for another 5 minutes. Discard the water and gently wipe with a dry cloth.
Note: Citric acid powder can be purchased at general household stores, usually labeled as “kettle descaler” or alike.
