Dr. Edward Chan Fosters Entrepreneurial Growth

As Vice Chairman of IfE CEO Club, Germany Pool (Hong Kong) Ltd Chairman, Dr. Edward Kwok Man Chan, attended the "Inauguration Ceremony of 2nd Executive Committee, CEO Club" on 21 October 2008. The guests of honor included Former Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of HKSAR, Mr. Frederick Ma Shi-hang, and President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Prof. Poon Chung-kwong.

Established by the Institute for Enterprise (IfE) of the PolyU, the IfE CEO Club is managed and steered by the Club’s Executive Committee. The IfE CEO Club is organized to create a nurturing environment for local CEOs to share their insights, support the continuous development of local enterprises, enhance the management skills of entrepreneurs, provide a platform for industries to expand their business network, drive partnerships and collaborations between industries and the PolyU, and act as a focal point for equivalent institutes and bodies in the Mainland and other countries. The Club members are elites with global vision and management excellence striving for continuous improvement. It is specially designed for Company Directors, General Managers and CEOs, etc.
