With the Director, Mr Edward Chan’s participation in Hong Kong Police Night

German Pool Group Limited has been a devoted charity event supporter, with its Director, Dr. Edward, Chan Kwok Man, participating as company representative in “Hong Kong Police Night” jointly hosted by The Community Chest and The Hong Kong Police, together with a donation of HK$80,000, which is fully allocated to 153 member social welfare agencies of The Community Chest.

“Hong Kong Police Night”, held at the Hong Kong Police College located in Wong Chuk Hang, was a charity event that has ever been held for 2 nights and Chief Executive’s Night and Commissioner of Police’s Night as the themes respectively. The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung and his wife, as well as the Commissioner of Police, Mr Tsang Wai-hung were invited as guests of honour. In addition to gala dinner, this special event is highlighted with performances of Hong Kong Police Band, the Police Dog Unit and the Police Tactical Unit.

Dr. Chan remarked that German Pool puts emphasis on corporate social responsibility and participation in charity events, and that he was glad and honoured to support the event as participant and Organising Committee Co-chairman. German Pool supported this special event with donation of HK$80,000, which is fully allocated to 153 member social welfare agencies of The Community Chest.

“Hong Kong Police Night” is a charity gala dinner jointly hosted by The Community Chest and the Hong Kong Police and is fully sponsored by the Bank of China Charitable Foundation. This event has ever been held for 2 nights for the first time at The Hong Kong Police College located in Wong Chuk Hang with Chief Executive’s Night and Commissioner of Police’s Night as the themes. The event, which consisted of gala dinner and performances of the Hong Kong Police units, raised nearly HK$400 million for 153 member social welfare agencies of The Community Chest.
