Halogen Cooking Pot To Be Awarded Consumer Product Design Certificate of Merit

The 2006 Hong Kong Awards For Industries Presentation Ceremony was held by The Federation of Hong Kong Industries on 5 February 2007 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Financial Secretary of the HKSAR, The Honourable Henry Tang, presented the awards to 69 enterprise winners in recognition of their excellence in industrial and service performance. German Pool!|s feature product, Halogen Multi-purpose Cooking Pot, won the "Consumer Product Design Certificate of Merit" at the "2006 Hong Kong Awards for Industries".

The Hong Kong Awards for Industries was officially launched in 2005. The awards scheme is to recognize outstanding achievements of Hong Kong enterprises in technology and higher value-added activities. The Awards Scheme covers seven categories and 308 industrial and commercial entries were received in the 2006 awards scheme. The judging process in each award category is carried out by a judging panel and then a final judging panel.
