Answer:
Check if the oil leakage is caused by a full oil cup. It is recommended to let the range hood continue running for 10 minutes after cooking before turning it off. This ensures that oil fumes are completely exhausted outdoors, preventing grease from accumulating inside the unit and helping to extend the appliance's lifespan. Additionally, the aluminum filter should be cleaned regularly to prevent oil buildup in the mesh holes. Over time, if exposed to heat (such as steam from boiling water), the accumulated grease can melt and drip down, causing "oil leakage." The cleaning frequency depends on the amount of oil fumes produced during cooking. We recommend at least once a week.
