"2007 China Top 10 Financial Icons" Award Presentation Ceremony cum "The 4th Ten Chinese Economic Icons" book launch was held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and the Beijing Cultural Development Institute honorary president, Xu Jialu, delivered an opening speech. The Chinese public (private) business Economic Research president, Bao Yujun, was also one of the honorary guests at the event. Germany Pool (Hong Kong) Ltd chairman, Mr. Edward Kwok Man Chan was the winner of "2007 China Top 10 Financial Icons" Special Award.

Judged by the Beijing Cultural Development Institute, "Fortune Times Editorial" China.com and other units, "China 2007 China Top 10 Financial Icons" measures candidates in three principles, "contribution, innovation and impact." Ten awards were presented to outstanding figures who contribute tremendously on China's economic and social development with their innovative spirits, creativity and excellence. Ten special awards were also presented to those with great achievements and impact on the society. All award winners were selected in accordance with the organizing committee jury as well as the public poll in recognition of their achievements in economic and social development and reform during the year.
