Christmas Gingerbread Man

Ingredients(Yield: 15-20 cookies):
300g plain flour
1/2tsp baking powder
2 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
1/8 tsp salt
100g unsalted butter
75g brown sugar
45g golden syrup
1 whisked egg
Decoration:
1 egg white
150g icing sugar (sifted)
1-2 drops food colouring each (red, green, brown) Sprinkles as desired
1 chocolate pen
Tool:
2 gingerbread man cookie moulds
1 christmas tree cookie mould
2-3 piping bags
Steps:

Soften butter at room temperature. Mix flour, baking powder, ginger powder, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder and salt. Sift and set aside.

Beat butter and sugar with the Electric Hand Mixer until fluffy. Gradually add in syrup and whisked egg. Continue whisking until smooth.

Sift and add powders in three batches. Gently mix into dough using spatula. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for 60 minutes.

Remove dough, place baking papers at the top and the bottom of the dough. Flatten to around 4mm with rolling pin. Remove the top baking paper. Use cookie mould to shape. Place on baking plate lined with baking paper.

Preheat the Multi-Purpose Halogen Cooking Pot at 170℃. Bake gingerbread for 15 minutes.

Whisk egg white with the Electric Hand Mixer. Add icing sugar in batches and beat into creamy frosting. Divide into 3 portions and add different food colouring separately. Pour into piping bag. Set aside.

。Remove gingerbread and let cool. Decorate with chocolate pen, royal icing and sprinkles to become gingerbread man. Serve.
Tips:
Multi-Purpose Halogen Cooking Pot conducts heat evenly and food can be baked perfectly regardless of the position placed inside the pot. Other than cinnamon powder, ground nutmeg, clove can also be added to the ginger bread.
