Turnip Cake with Cured Meat

Ingredients:
Turnips
600g
Chinese Sausages
30g
Cured Meat
30g
Dried shrimps
20g
Chinese Mushrooms
20g
Dried Scallops
20g
Rice Flour
200g
Seasonings:
Slab Sugar
20g
Pepper
to taste
Salt
to taste
Steps:
1.
Shred turnips. Dice Chinese sausages, cured meat, Chinese mushrooms.
2.
Saute duck thigh skin in the Auto Power Switch Multifunctional Health Cooker. Toss in Chinese sausages, cured meat, Chinese mushrooms, dried shrimps and dried scallops. Leave aside.
3.
Put in shredded turnips. Pour in water and cook until soft. Add seasonings.
4.
Gradually mix rice flour with turnips in three times. Add sauted ingredients in (2) and stir well.
5.
Apply a layer of oil onto the steam tray. Pour in the mixture and steam for 1.5 hours in the Steam Oven.
Tips:
1) Turnips (with peels): Rice Flour = 6 Catty: 1 Catty 2) Slab sugar removes bitterness. 3) Do not remove the remaining turnip greens. It is more convenient to shred the turnip holding the remaining greens.
