Western Style Fried Glutinous Rice

Ingredients:
Glutinous Rice
Deep Fried Peanuts
Beacons
Chopped Spring Onions
Hams
Onions
Fresh Straw Mushrooms
Chinese Mushrooms
Eggs
Corn Starch
Chopped Coriander
Seasoning:
Shaoxing Wine
Sweet Soy Sauce (or mixture of dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and sugar)
Steps:
1.
Soak the glutinous rice in water for 3 hours or more. Beat the eggs and pan fry in the Auto Power Switch Multifunctional Health Cooker. Cut into strips. Set aside.
2.
Saute bacons, hams, onions, mushrooms and Shaoxing wine in the Health Cooker. Set aside.
3.
Put the glutinous rice and water into the Health Cooker. Keep stirring and tossing. Add appriopriate amount of water gradually. Stir fry until the rice becomes translucent and slightly dry (approximately 15-20 minutes).
4.
Put in the sauted ingredients and sweet soy sauce. Stir well. Sprinkle with peanuts, coriander, spring onions and egg strips.
Tips:
Maria's Tips: Add corn starch into the beaten eggs to make it easier to create a complete omelette. Add water gradually when stir frying the glutinous rice. Pour in water only when the rice gets dry.
