Self Raising Powder350 g (+some as kneading flour)

Baking Powder1 Tsp
Unsalted Butter100 g
Sugar50 g
Whole Milk1/2 cup
(Homemade) Plain Yoghurt50 g
Eggwash:
Egg Yolk1
Milk1 Tbsp
Preparation:
Dice butter and let it become soft at room temperature.
Preheat Grill & Steam Oven/Multifunctional Grill to 200°C。
Steps:
1.
Sift self-raising flour, salt, and baking powder to a big bowl, add butter and mix well with hands.
2.
Add sugar and stir well. Add milk and yoghurt then mix well。
3.
Gradually make the mixture into a dough. Knead to 4 cm height on working platform with kneading flour. Use mould to cut dough into round shape (approximately 4 of them).

Roll remaining dough, make flat with 4 cm height and use mould to cut into round shape again. Scatter on tray with baking paper.
5.
Mix egg yolk and milk and brush onto round shaped dough.
6.
Place into Steam & Grill Oven, use Bake Mode at 180°C for 14-16 min or till dough becomes golden brown (raised and firm in texture).
7.
Take out scone, place on rack to let cool and they are ready to serve.
8.
It is recommended to eat scone with clotted cream and jam.
Tips:
Don't overwork the dough or the scones will get tough. Dip the biscuit cutter into flour before cutting out the dough.
