Salted Meat Rice Dumpling

Ingredients(Yield: 5 pieces):
600g glutinous rice
300g peeled split mung bean
150g pork belly (cut into chunks)
5 salted duck eggs (halved)
75g dried shrimps (soaked until tender)
30 bamboo leaves Marinade
15g salt
5g sugar
15g oil
2 tsp five spice powder

Steps:

Rinse glutinous rice and mung beans well. Soak in water for 4 hours separately. Marinate pork belly with five spice powder for 4 hours.

Soak bamboo leaves in water until soft. Rinse well. Turn on the Auto-Power Switch Multifunctional Health Cooker and select “Boil” function. Bring water to a boil. Blanch leaves for 1 minute.

Drain excess water from soaked glutinous rice. Marinate with salt, sugar and oil for 30 minutes.

Take 2 bamboo leaves and put as a cross. Add glutinous rice and other ingredients into the pocket-shape leaves. Cover with glutinous rice. Take another 2 leaves and add to the left and right sides, wrap glutinous rice completely.

Take another leaves to cover the top. Fold leaves on two sides to the center separately and fold the tip of another two leaves inwards. Hold dumplings tight and turn upside down. Tie opposite angles of the dumplings with cotton string.

Place wrapped dumplings into the Multi-functional Rice Cooker. Add water to cover surface of dumplings. Select “Mode” and then “Manual” function. Press “Time/Temp” button. Set the temperature to 100℃ and time to 2 hours. Press
