Sliced Pork Belly with Spicy Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:
Pork Belly500 g
Marinade:
SaltTo Taste
Ground White PepperTo Taste
Seasonings:
Minced Garlic2 tbsp
Light Sauce Soy1 tbsp
Black Vinegar1 tbsp
Chinese Cooking Wine1 tbsp
Mirin1 tbsp
Chili Oil1 tsp
Sesame Oil½ tsp
Steps:
1.
Rinse and remove hair from the pork belly. Cut it into two halves.
2.
Combine the seasonings in a bowl.
3.
Marinate pork chunks. Place them into the 2 Square Containers. Place them into Bento Steam Cooker. Cover the lid and start cooking.
4.
When the pork is cooked, rinse it with iced water.
5.
Slice the pork. Arrange on a plate and serve with the dipping sauce.
Tips:
Pierce the pork rind with a meat tenderizer or fork to create small holes before rinsing with ice water. This can reduce greasiness and create a crisp texture.
