Black Bean Sauce Spareribs Over Rice

Ingredients:
Spareribs500 g
Rice160 g
Water160 ml
Chili Pepper20 g
Scallion12 pc
Marinade:
Black BeansTo Taste
Minced GarlicTo Taste
Salt½ tsp
Corn Starch½ tsp
Sugar2 tsp
Oil½ tsp
Seasonings:
Sweet Soy SauceTo Taste
Steps:
1.
Slice the chili peppers. Section the scallions. Crush the black beans.
2.
Mix the spareribs with the marinade (except oil). Marinate for 1 hour.
3.
Put the rice and water into tall bowls. Put the bowls in the lower basket of the Jet Steamer. Insert the upper steaming basket (without the rack). Cover the lid and steam for 20 minutes.
4.
Mix the spareribs with oil. Arrange them and the chili peppers on top of the half-cooked rice. Close the lid and steam for another 15 minutes.
5.
Top the rice with scallions. Stir in sweet soy sauce and serve.
Tips:
Rinse the spareribs before marinating to get rid of the gamey taste and give it a tender texture.
