Vietnamese Summer Rolls with Fried Onion Blossom

Ingredients:
Rice Papper
Onions
Eggs
Milk
Carrots
Green Papaya
Shrimps
Lettuce
Sweet Basil
Rice Noodles
Mint Leaves
Frying Powder:
Tempura Powder
Salt
Paprika
Bread Crumbs
Sauce:
Garlic
Facing Heaven Peppers
Lime Peels
Lime Juice
Fish Sauce
Steps:
1.
Peel and cut the onion in half.
2.
Cut the onion so that "petals" are formed. Do not cut all the way through but stop 1" from the root.
3.
Mix the eggs with milk.
4.
Coat the fried onion blossom with the egg mixture.
5.
Mix the ingredients to create frying powder.
6.
Coat the outside of each of the "petal" of the onion blossom with frying powder.
7.
Heat up oil in the Auto Power Switch Multifunctional Health Cooker. Deep fry twice and set aside.
8.
Cut the carrots, green papaya and shrimps into strips. Blanch the shrimps.
9.
Place all ingredients onto the rice papers and roll into Vietnamese Summer Rolls.
10.
Serve with the sauce.
